This is a Walking Ware eggcup made by Carlton Ware, England of Walking Ware Luster Pottery, England between 1973-1980 when the mark changed.

The iconic egg cup or egg cup has brown shoes and herringbone socks. 

The eggcup measures 2.5 inches high and is in very good used vintage condition with no chips or cracks and exhibits the normal crazing expected on the older Walking Ware eggcups.

The older Walking Ware eggcups are very difficult to find, and several companies formed in the 1980-1990s to copy them.

This is an original Walking Ware eggcup from Carlton Ware.
